Just like they always will, even when the last traces of their time together fade from Karl's mind, even when Sapnap's touch becomes foreign and unfamiliar to Karl's skin, even when Karl leaves, leaves Sapnap with empty arms and an emptier heart, with a cold chest and the bittersweet knowledge that they'd been perfect, once.
