Achraf bolting out of the locker room at the speed of lighting had definitely been the worst one. At first, Kylian had been ecstatic because Achraf responded to the kiss. For a moment he’d been filled with hope. The first press of lips had overwhelmed Kylian. His heart had fluttered and then expanded in his chest. Achraf had let out a shaky breath and Kylian had known he wasn’t alone in what he’d been feeling. One minute Achraf was parting his lips and granting Kylian access, the next he was roughly pushing him and running away. That’s when Kylian knew that he’d made a mistake. All he’d managed to do was complicate matters and put their friendship in jeopardy. Achraf wasn’t any less married than he’d been when Kylian kissed him. He certainly wasn’t Kylian’s. He could never be.
