Summary
Jisung's never exactly been the studious type. Sure, he's smart in his own way, but that doesn't necessarily transfer over to the kind of intelligence that the education system relies on. Tired of struggling after his first semester, he takes his friend up on the advice of actually using the school library to work.
Enter Lee Minho, with his soft hair and pretty voice and his eyes that hold the galaxies in them. If he was only pretty, Jisung might've gotten away with just a fleeting crush. Unfortunately for him, Minho is funny and kind and quickly figures out that the fastest way to Jisung's heart is through his stomach-- and by being an attentive friend.
So in short, Jisung's screwed.

“What why?!” Jisung blanched with an unimpressed look, bringing his hands to rest on Minho’s shoulders as he was backed up against the wall. He squeezed them lightly in what he hoped seemed natural resistance and not a way of struggling with the battle within himself on whether to push the older away or pull him closer.
"Cause they did it in Mission Impossible and it worked for them."
"First of all just because you jumped out of a plane once does not make you Tom Cruise and second of all-"
The shorter male brought a finger up to Minho's lips to silence the protest on the tip of his tongue, fighting back a smile at the pout on the other's lips. He then proceeded to point in the direction of echoing footsteps in the night, drawing closer and closer to the alleyway they were currently hiding in.
"It's gonna take a lot more than a few armed guards to get me to make out with you."

Summary
Minho's always dreamed of meeting his soulmate, especially when Jisung's name appeared on his wrist at the age of four. On his tenth birthday, however, Jisung's name suddenly turned black, which could only mean one thing: his soulmate's heart stopped. After that, Minho's only purpose becomes saving people, so he decides to dedicate his life to becoming a good doctor.
Jisung, on the other hand, always had the fear of rejection, because he felt that he wasn't enough for his soulmate - loud, ugly, suffering from strong anxiety and having to get his heart checked twice a year. Who on Earth could love him?
(Alt: Minho is a med student who has to spend two weeks working at the hospital as a nurse. Jisung is there for his yearly health-checkup. Oh, but Minho doesn't know Jisung was never dead.)
