Sparks flied through the mist, colliding on the small creature’s head and piercing its eye out. Said eye disintegrated once impaled, healing and reappearing in its original spot.
“Agatsuma, you’re always so mean to me..”
Its high-pitched voice took a fake, sad tone once the creature spoke to the stranger.
“Please do not adress me. At all. I would prefer it if you shut your mouth and dissapeared.”
Tanjirou held onto the white blade’s handle, gripping it so hard his knuckles turned white.
The newcomer looked at his state with sad, amber eyes.He grabbed Tanjirou's katana by the blade, severely harming his own pale hand and yanked it from his arms.
“You don’t need this now.”

“I’m going to die, aren’t I?” Zenitsu asked dreadfully. Shinobu smiled brightly at him.
“You might,” she sings.
“That’s so cruel!” Zenitsu shouts, shooting up to sit on the bed. “At least deny it! Comfort me, Shinobu-san!! Come on, I don’t want to die! Hey!! TELL ME I’M GOING TO BE FINE, PLEASE!”
“I don’t know…” Shinobu sighed, tilting her head. “It’s a symptom I’ve never come across before so I can’t tell you for sure…”
Tears blur Zenitsu’s vision. “SHINOBU-SAAAAAANNNN!” he sobs.
