Pete’s face felt too hot suddenly, his heart hammered in his chest so hard that Pete was worried Mikey might hear it somehow, even though that was physically impossible.
Except that Mikey’s eyes dropped to stare a hole into his chest, eyes fixed right over where his heart was pounding, and his grin grew a little sharp, his eyes dilated ever so slightly and it looked like that he could hear every pound, every rush of blood locked in his chest.
But that's.... That's impossible.
Right?

It's Warped Tour 2005 and Pete is excited to get to know his friend Mikey Way from My Chem better.
Apparently that includes finding out him and his entire band are vampires.
