“I wasn’t too rough, was I?” Daeyoung nuzzles his cheek against his hyung’s. “Was I too mean?”
Yushi snorts but lets him. “I wish you were rougher.”
Daeyoung laughs at the comment even though he should really know better by now. Tokuno Yushi is silly by nature but he can be deadly serious about these kinds of things.
“Don’t tempt me, hyung,” is what Daeyoung says, mostly because he’s an idiot.
Yushi blinks up at him, slowly. Like an animal on the prowl. One of those big cats who look cute but can rip your throat out in one bite. “I'm trying to tempt you,” Yushi says. “Are you tempted, Jaehee?”
It’s something about hindsight, right? Daeyoung’s vision has always been fucking terrible. He's made the mistake of not taking Yushi seriously before and he’s an idiot because he makes the same mistake again.
“I’m very tempted,” Daeyoung grins. And he does not notice when Yushi licks his lips and smirks; self-satisfied. Once Yushi decides he wants something, he stops at nothing until he gets it.

Summary
Before starting university, Kihyun was looking forward to befriending his roommate. To his dismay, his freshman year roommate turns out to be not that great, and his sophomore year roommate turns out to be absolutely terrible.
When third year rolls around, Kihyun decides he needs to find a roommate himself, someone he could trust. So, he decides to live with Hyungwon’s childhood friend — Lee Minhyuk. Kihyun thinks, if Hyungwon is friends with this guy, then he must be a decent enough roommate.
As it turns out, Minhyuk might just be Kihyun’s best roommate thus far. They fit together so well. Kihyun wonders if anyone else has ever felt this way about someone.

Yushi doesn’t know, really, what to make of that.
Sure, Daeyoung is shy. That’s just a fact of life, really. But there’s never been anything to be scared about - Daeyoung isn’t rabid, or feral, or out of control. Yushi never thought it was anything but cute, the way his puppy-like boyfriend latches onto him and scents him and rubs their wrists together like Yushi has a scent to imprint back onto him.
“You just have to take the reins,” Riku encourages him. “He’s nervous. He’s shy. And what other alpha would let you boss him around, really?” Riku’s grin is a little bit terrifying. “Trust me - it’s awesome.”

There is, perhaps, a desire in Yushi for his alpha boyfriend to take the reins. To do more than kissing and cuddling. His alpha hasn't seemed to realize this. In fact, it doesn't seem like he wants to do anything at all.
So Yushi, obviously, has to do all of the work himself. Of course he does.
Daeyoung is just along for the ride.

He can barely think, his brain switched off from exhaustion and terror, reduced to sheer instincts, following orders and a horrible routine, ingrained into his very body by now. He is carrying Lewis, a grown man thrown over his back like a sack of potatoes. He has no idea how far he has been walking, focused solely on the next step and on hopefully avoiding shells falling all over them. There is an ambulance in sight, waiting for them, hands reaching to help him take Lewis off him without injuring him farther, and settle him promptly into the back of the car. He raises his head to look at the driver and freezes in shock, certain that he finally has snapped, that his mind could not take it anymore and went straight into hallucination.
The driver is a woman, not an uncommon sight those days, but this particular woman has no business being here, in the middle of most literal hell.

Summary
Tokuno Yushi, once upon a time, was under the impression that he lived a normal life. Chaotic? Sure. Unconventional? Most certainly. But still painfully normal.
But then he debuted in Wish and ended up being the only beta in a dorm full of pups and alphas and whatever Riku has going on, and sure enough, normal is just about the least fitting descriptor he could use to describe the world he’s been thrown into.
Case in point:
“I’m pretty sure Daeyoungie is trying to court you,” Riku says one morning, as the two of them are huddled around the Keurig, half-asleep. “And I’m pretty sure everyone has noticed except for you.”

Yushi is perfectly fine with being Wish's beta, thank you very much. He could tell you that he's glad he doesn't have to deal with the same disgusting hormones his hyungs do, and he's had enough of their bullshit as it is.
However, Daeyoung starts acting weird. Touchy, close, a tiny bit possessive. It's not like Yushi minds. He might even like it.
But just to be clear, that doesn't mean Daeyoung wants to court him. Right?
