Summary
Master Diluc of Mondstadt hates The Knights of Favonius. They are a lazy, incompetent bunch who get in his way more often than not, a true plague on his beloved City. Their Acting Grand Master, however, is perhaps the only person on the continent that shares his devotion to the Mondstadt and thus she is the only one in the entire organization he respects. As ghosts from his past begin to threaten Mondstadt's hard-earned peace, Diluc finds himself working with Jean. And as he gets to know her a little more, he finds himself feeling something far more dangerous than an aloof camaraderie. Certainly, a distant acquaintance would not often find themselves stuck dumb by her beauty. Nor would a distant acquaintance want to kiss her senseless until theirs is the only name she remembers. It's a good thing indeed that Master Diluc is far too smart to fall for the one woman who heads the organization he holds in absolute contempt.....Right?

Summary
Jean received a threat from the Abyss Order insisting that she comes alone in facing them. And for some reason, she's tangled with Diluc in resolving it. Both of them doing what they can, for Mondstadt.
And when rumors spread that she's in a relationship with Diluc right after, she tried to find a way to clear it up.
The mere thought of considering a relationship with her former captain is ridiculous, that's what she likes to say. As someone who represents the Knights of Favonius, the one thing that Diluc despises the most, she definitely don't have a chance. But why does the thought bother her?
The never idle knight may or may not have feelings for her former superior. She knew her feelings are not to be reciprocated.
However, that might not be the case. Because when a certain harbinger was roaming around Mondstadt, Diluc's buttons were pushed upon seeing that the fatui scum established a somehow good relationship with the Dandelion Knight.

Summary
Barbara has been having recurring nightmares about the fight with Childe at the Golden House. Upon waking from the same nightmare for the seventh night in a row on the trip home, she leaves the safety of Diluc's manor to return to Mondstat on her own.
Still recovering from fighting Aether and his friends, Childe has come to Mondstat to deal with a rogue Ruin Guard who has escaped from Il Dottore. It should be the perfect thing to help him get back into fighting shape. When he finds the little healer who helped Aether heading straight for that bucket of bolts, he decides to save her.
When the two succeed in taking the thing down, Barbara realizes Childe isn't trying to kill her. Aether is right: he is charming and funny. Maybe she could work with him to improve relations between Mondstat and Snezhnaya?
When the two succeed in taking the thing down, Childe realizes that Aether and his friends are idiots. They don't seem to see how lucky they are to have Barbara healing them. He makes it his mission to convince her that she should travel with him instead.
A young man who wants to conquer the world. A young woman who wants to save it. What could possibly go wrong... or right?
