Chan really does sound apologetic when he yells a loud, “Sorry!” and rips the door out of Minho’s grasp, slamming it shut. Minho falls on the handle and wriggles it aggressively - it’s not like these things lock - but the door (and Chan holding onto the handle from the outside) holds firm.
“You two need to talk your shit out! Or else we’re gonna have a group intervention and everyone’s going to sit down and talk about their feelings.”
Before now, Minho would have disputed the idea of Bang Chan being able to deliver a threat that had any hold over him, but his leader has clearly done his thinking. Minho loves his members, but if he has to hear about all of their problems at once, he might actually explode. Jisung and Minho exchange a grimace for the first time in a week, and the sip of warmth that slips down his throat is truly infuriating. Jisung didn’t even go anywhere, and Minho missed him. They’re standing right next to each other, and he still misses him.
(Or: Minho has known for a while that Jisung has feelings for him. It's when he thinks he might have feelings back that things get complicated.)

At work, in Minho’s flat, at his favourite park with the hideous fountain, he’s always listening for footsteps behind him, braced for impact and seeing danger everywhere with his nerves feeling peeled raw. He’s spiralling downward, he knows he is, and he’s not even sure what’s real anymore.
