Donnie and Leo go to each other when they really need it. If they’re having a bad day, or a bad time, and need someone else, but the full front of all of their brothers is too much.
It’s a special time they have together and they lovingly named it their “Twin Cult”.It’s notoriously secretive and everyone else thinks they’re doing something sketchy and/or illegal but really they're just in an old subway car watching “slime tutorials” of musicals because one of them was having a breakdown.

When Donnie rolled over at 5:45AM, Leo was sitting up on his bed, a silhouette in the window. Bowed over one knee, hunched and staring into the lightly falling rain streaking down the pane.
“L?” Donnie wondered, fumbling for his glasses to put the image into stark relief — the tired look on the shadows of Leo’s face, the way he was picking the skin off his thumb with his free hand.
“Go back to sleep, D.” Leo said, obviously automatic. There wasn’t any hint of sleep in his own voice.
