"I'm sure that in some circles it would come off as inappropriate," Soonyoung tells him, wagging his index finger at him in reprimand, but the effect is ruined by the way he's swaying on his feet.
"Unfortunately, the only circle I'm in is yours," Wonwoo says, resigned.

Soonyoung gasps sharply, and Junhui meows in confusion when Soonyoung suddenly picks him up off his comfy spot on the sofa and squeezes him. "How could you even suggest such a thing?! If anything, you would be the one asking me. Happy is the love of my life, you're just here by extension."
"Oh, really?"
Soonyoung nods adamantly. "And he loves me, too. Look!"
Junhui's still very confused, but when Soonyoung hugs him tight, he can only snuggle back because Junhui would never give up the chance to hug him. Soonyoung crows in triumph, petting Junhui's head happily. "See that? Maybe he even loves me more than he loves you, Wonwoo."
Junhui's been able to turn into a cat since before he can remember. Keeping a secret that huge takes a pretty big toll on him, so he doesn't think it's his fault that he manages to accidentally get adopted and reveal his secret to his best friend that he might be a little bit in love with. It's alright, though, because no matter what, he's still the happiest cat alive.
