This is when Ghost is at his most unreserved, when he seems the most unlike The Ghost. It’s as if a good op helps him remember what it feels like to be human. And it’s in these moments, when he’s almost effusive, casual about a pat on the shoulder or a hand at the back of the neck—when he seems to need the physical reassurance that they made it out in one piece—that Soap thinks the mask looks the most like the prop it is.
