Every year San waited by the windows to watch the incoming storm, the end to winter and the beginning of spring. Spring, and with it the magic of new life, of new beginnings, new opportunities. It wiped away the loneliness of Winter and replaced it with anticipation. It was a favorite time of year for every forest witch.
But the storm brought something else with it this time. A pirate. A very cute pirate.

The moment the words escape his mouth, Alec finds himself slightly panicking. Because he does not talk like that, ever―in a way that might even be considered flirting―and he still doesn’t understand what it is about Magnus that brings stuff like that out of him. More importantly, he has a boyfriend.
Magnus, however, just looks mildly surprised as their eyes meet.
