“Shinazugawa-san, wait!”
In the hushed stillness of the hospital, the woman's voice crash through the small corridor like a storm, pulling everybody's gaze toward them.
Staring at the floor, Sanemi tried to ignore her and kept walking until a small hand seized his arm, forcing him to to turn around and ripped free with a violent jerk
“Get the fuck away from me,” he spat almost inmediately, eyes blazing.
“We should finish talking first.” Shinobu replied, calm and coldly. As if she was already judging him, like everyone else.
“You must think this is funny.” he grinned boldly, hands trembling. “To you I'm just going insane.”
“You’ve barely slept. Maybe you just though—”
“He was here, Shinobu. That's it.” Sanemi snapped, voice rising. “If you’re gonna pester me with that bullshit, you better stay out of my way.”
The corridor falled into a heavy silence, broken only by the distant clatter of carts and whispers. Eyes bore into him, sharp and unrelenting, so similar to his that he flinched away and stormed forward.
He knows what he saw. He knows that—
“But no one saw him, Sanemi. No one else but you. Not a single person saw Giyuu enter… or leave this hospital”.

This was so stupid. Really.
Alhaitham and Kaveh have always been a collision of contradictions—a living paradox of fire meeting ice, passion clashing with logic. Kaveh knew from the start that dating him would be less a romance and more a demolition project.

“What?”
Alhaitham is still standing, and Kaveh almost wants to tell him to sit down already and stop making things awkward! “There are supposed to be signs, but I didn’t—you never,” Alhaitham’s eyes close tightly. “I never saw anything wrong.” Kaveh can’t give him an answer. He’s felt like this since forever; it’s a familiar comfort and weight. “I thought you were okay.”

“I mean, I’ve had to suffer his insufferable personality much more than the rest of them I suppose,” Kaveh mused aloud.
“I am still here."
“Oh sorry, Your Majesty,” Kaveh said drily, “I forgot that despite your short-term memory loss, deep down you are still my insufferable and infuriating roommate.”
King Deshret raised an eyebrow in amusement. “I still don’t quite get you fully, Kaveh, but I can now kind of see why Alhaitham would like you.”Alhaitham starts gaining memories and powers from his past life as King Deshret. Kaveh tries to be alright with it. But sometimes it feels like he is mourning someone right in front of him.
