Except it turns out he's actually not as normal as he tries to be. When he finally goes off to a school where he can possibly succeed, the guy who murdered his parents is trying to get his body back and for some reason, it's Harry's problem.
A rewrite of Harry Potter if he made some better decisions and if the abuse he suffered at the hands of the Dursleys actually affected his life.
