Summary
Laios is wrapped up in about three different blankets, making for a thick, mismatched caterpillar in the center of the bed. He can only make out his eyes and up from the opening of the wrap-up, but even despite the dimmer light due to unopened curtains, Kabru can see how red and sweaty his forehead is. A fever. But, given the sweet, cloying scent even he can smell, it’s not just that.
A few days. He’d accounted for a few days early. A few weeks early is a completely separate matter.
Or, in which an unexpected and unsafe heat leads to an outcome Kabru hadn't seen coming.

Summary
However prim and proper and polite Doctor Hannibal Lecter may be, he's also a psychopathic cannibalistic serial killer in the throes of a midlife crisis. Needless to say, he only has himself to blame when a whirlwind of an omega takes him by storm.
This is his complete and utter undoing. Getting ruined never felt so good.

Summary
“His shirt’s on inside out,” Josh commented to Linda. Eddie opened the door to the breakroom and tried to let it close behind him, but that did not deter either of his colleagues. “Is this a walk of shame?”
“Well, I am walking,” Eddie confirmed, rounding the counter and beelining to the empty coffee pot. “And full of shame.”
“What happened?”
“I stood him up,” he answered, shortly.
After what was probably a very involved silent conversation between Linda and Josh, Josh said, “Eddie, if you aren’t ready, I’m sure he’d understand.”
“I am ready,” he said, detaching the water reservoir with more force than necessary. “I didn’t do it on purpose.”
