Summary
She knocks on the apartment door that belongs to her brother, fully ready to arrange her face into a disappointed scowl but when the door opens, Adam’s broad frame is nowhere to be found.
Instead, Adora has to lower her gaze to find a stunning woman wearing shorts and a vintage t-shirt that is somehow both baggy and still looks great on her.
The brunette eyes Adora up and down, a devastating smile crossing her lips as she does so. Adora stares back, mouth open to say something but no sound comes out.
"Adam there's a hot blonde at the door. Is this one of the strippers you thought about marrying?" She calls into the house. She leans against the door frame and the t-shirt collar dips, revealing a delicate shoulder. “Because given new information, can’t blame you for considering it.”
Adora can feel the blush rushing up her face and adds strip clubs and potentially marrying strippers to the list of things she has to talk to her brother about.

Adora visits her brother, worried that he rushed into marriage just like all his military friends. What happens when his wife seems to be her perfect girl? Military Marriage AU.

Adora made a promise to herself when she was thirteen: "Before you graduate high school, you should make the most out of life and go on a journey." Five years later, and with graduation, college and work in her future, Adora thought that her promise would never be kept. Until she ran into a woman named Catra.
The two of them, knowing that this opportunity was now-or-never, joined to become travel partners. Together, they journey across the United States in the footsteps of a famous traveller, leaving behind the mundane life of exams and part-time jobs. They seek enlightenment, adventure, fun, and maybe even love...
But all throughout, Adora has only one lingering question: What exactly convinced Catra to go on this journey? Is she looking for something? Or... is she running away from something?
