"You're right," Suho said, nodding morosely. Sieun gave up trying to wrangle the cup out of his hand. He got up on his knees and tilted the glass down Suho's lips himself.
"Sieun-ah," Suho suddenly said facing him, face so red, it seemed like it was burning. "If we both don't find anybody in five years, let's just get married."
or: Half a drunken confession later, Sieun comes to the realisation that his feelings might not be just friendly.

It was hard to believe that this was the same boy Suho had fallen for so long ago. The one who swung a chair at him upon their first proper meeting, with eyes that seemed ready to kill. Sieun had transformed into someone so tender.
Like a stray cat, distrustful and on high alert, who would now purr at his touch and eat out of the palm of his hand. He could only assume his new friends had really softened Sieun up. A few weeks after waking up, however, he discovered this was not the case.

Summary
Suho is glad that Sieun is still around when he wakes up from his coma. He doesn't ask the other boy what's happened in the months he was unconscious but he finds out he doesn't have to when he reads the messages Sieun sent him in that time. Those messages give him the last push to confront Sieun about why he looks so sad, though he doesn't expect for that to take the turn it does. Which he's not complaining about, for the record.

"Suho, don't—" Sieun started, but it was too late. Suho had already swallowed it whole, a thoughtful look on his face.
"Hmm," Suho said, blinking a few times. He wobbled slightly, reaching out to steady himself on Sieun's shoulder. "That's... interesting. A little tangy." His gaze fixed on Sieun, his eyes holding an unnerving intensity. "You know, your eyes are the exact same color of the smoky quartz stone we used in Potions last week. I kept one in my drawer just because it reminded me of you. Did you know that? They're really beautiful."
Sieun froze, his heart starting to pound against his ribs. "What?"or: Suho is under some unknown potion's effect and Sieun is having the worst time because his heart really can't take his friend's fake love confessions, not when he so desperately wishes they were real.

Baku stared at him for a beat. Then: “Are you kidding me.”
“Baku —”
“That guy,” Baku said, pointing in the direction of nowhere in particular, somewhere that presumably meant the broader universe containing Ahn Suho, “would be happy if an asteroid hit the earth and it was just the two of you left. He’d build you a house. He’d learn to farm.”

And Sieun couldn’t take it anymore. He burst out laughing, his entire body shaking with mirth.
