Martin had—at least once, back in 1948, when the ship from the Vatican disembarked at San Francisco Bay. They said the Eastern Vampires lived among us; they appeared, spoke, and acted like us. There was never any significant difference between humans and these blood-thirsty savages. Martin had always considered this an old tale, passed down through generations to frighten children.
Vampires were never real. They were fictional creatures.
Which was why Martin was so puzzled when he encountered a wounded Yufan who begged to be fed with his blood.

"Bitch, what's for dinner?" Wooyoung grins sharply, his words slightly harsh, ready for his eyes to narrow and look at him in righteous anger that’s ridiculously hot to witness. But instead... he watches in horror as San's smile drops instantly, pouty lips curling downwards, his feline eyes drooping, the absolute devastation on his face as he looks down, as if retreating into himself, suddenly appearing small.
"G-Grilled... sandwich..." San stutters out in a small voice, it's audible enough for him to hear but the hurt is clear in his voice. Wooyoung blanches. He doesn't even remember that he is still live, quickly putting his phone on the counter as he strides over to his boyfriend, who- Wooyoung notices with regret- flinches at his approach.
Or, Wooyoung accidentally hurts San's feelings and then they make up in the most fluffiest way <3

The Sunny is anchored just off shore, close enough to see the deck but far enough away that the crew has had to take the Mini Merry to make land. Scattered across the beach in various stages of chaos—rolling around, yelling, fighting—are his crew but not his crew, so similar and yet so, so different. They look younger, fresher, and whatthefuck there, on the deck of the Sunny just peering over the railing, he catches a flash of green—his own green hair—
“Ah, fuck,” he grunts, and then immediately turns back around because no, actually, he does not want to deal with this.
