Tengen stared at Kyojuro dumbstruck. He understood perfectly about the pup part. He could already hear his own pup Zenitsu greeting his friends, but bribing the usually quiet Omega, who isn’t a big fan of loud parties with very loud music with pumpkin pie and apple cider of all things.
He couldn’t wait to see the looks on everyone’s faces when the lovebirds came in, dressed up as a prince and Snow white. Tengen gave his best friend a shit eating grin.

Giyuu had no idea if it was his place to make such an offer, but the Uzuis had been trying for a pup for so long that their hope had begun to fade. It wasn't as if Giyuu himself was getting any younger, or had a pack of his own to start a family with. So if his body could help bring them the happiness they'd been longing for, then perhaps it was worth the risk. He just hadn't expected his quiet act of kindness to change all their lives so completely.

The author had a brain worm because it's canon that Giyuu was one of the first people to hold the Uzui's baby and thought, "What if he had the baby instead?"...and it all spiraled from there.
