Read it for the meat but stayed because everything is nice. Abuse victim takes revenge on abuser by abusing them. Because of mistaken identity, the man who looks like his abuser is accidentally roped in. Or is it really mistaken identity instead of reincarnation?
It's written really nicely and immersively. The content is cathartic. Good to read as a ventfic.

I really reread this fic just for the ambiguity of the relationship, and the mortal/immortal aspect. I love it. The ballads also feel very grounded.
