Summary
Both Erica Sinclair and Dustin Henderson struggle with the new world order following the cataclysmic destruction of Hawkins' community and the narrow defeat of Vecna. Mike remarks the purple circles forming under Will’s eyes. “For the first time, he was able to get into my dreams but since we cast him out last time, he’s not able to do anything first.”
"First?" Mike has to interrupt. “What do you mean by “first”?”
“Like, if I give in to him, or whatever. I don’t know.” Will shakes him off, getting too uncomfortable. There’s a certain line he can’t cross, like telling his sister’s boyfriend and his crush about his crazy wet dream while she is in the slightly ajar room next door.
“Well, then he can’t make you his spy.” Mikes gains back his composure, too self-assured Will would never give in willingly.TL:DR; Will struggles when Vecna starts appearing in his nightmares and Mike notices Will has been isolating himself from the party since being back in Hawkins.

“What did you just say?” Munson stares at him like he’s grown a second head– like something has replaced the real Jason Carver and is wearing his skin.
“Uh- good morning?” Jason says dumbly. He just wanted to be nice to the guy, but now he sort of feels like this is worse than being a jerk.
“Good…morning…” Munson seems to test the words on his tongue, a slight disbelieving quirk of his lips, “Sure, Carver. Good morning.”
