Summary
Aaron felt the heat of pure, cold indignation simmering beneath his skin. It was deliberate. The man was baiting him, looking for the flash of protective anger, the moment where the Unit Chief would break character and show the lover beneath.
“Dr. Reid is one of the most thorough and articulate agents in this building,” Aaron said, his voice quiet, steady, and utterly devoid of anything other than calm professionalism. “His work requires no editing. It requires only an appreciation for the nuance he provides. If you find his reports ‘verbose,’ perhaps it is a limitation of the reader, not the writer.”

Aaron watched him, his gaze heavy and unyielding. He didn’t rise to the jab. He didn’t shift his posture. He remained a statue of bureaucratic compliance, even as every fiber of his being wanted to reach across the desk and force the man to acknowledge the title he was so pointedly omitting.

Spencer’s heart dies. “Well then, I love you to the edge of the universe and back. That’s much, much farther.”
A small giggle emits from the Jack-shaped mound. “I still win, silly. 13 billion light years away is something we’ve seen. That makes my love bigger. You can see it.”

Summary
Aaron had left twenty minutes earlier to pick up dry cleaning and stop by the hardware store. He had kissed Spencer briefly in the doorway before leaving. Spencer could still feel it, a warm press that had lingered just long enough to be remembered.
Jack dragged a chair across the tile with a scrape that made Spencer wince.
"Hey, buddy," Spencer said, folding the file closed. "Everything okay?"
Jack climbed onto the chair and folded his hands on the table like he was about to negotiate a treaty. He stared at Spencer with the kind of intense concentration only seven year olds and profilers could manage.
"Uncle Spencer," he said carefully, "are you my dad now too?"
Spencer blinked.

Summary
When a case requires two agents to go undercover as a married couple in an affluent suburban neighborhood, Hotch volunteers before Reid can object.
Apparently, pretending to share a home, a bed, and convincing marital chemistry is easier than talking about feelings.
Unfortunately for both of them, the line between performance and reality starts getting harder to profile.
Note: I'm almost out of pre-written fanfics to post on here and need to write more, let me know if y'all have any HotchReid fic ideas!
