Summary
His smile is tense and odd and twisted, too high on one end and turned a bit down on the other. He isn’t sitting, yet it feels as though he leaps to his feet upon their arrival anyway, bounding towards James with an almost relieved sounding, “Mr. Rhodes! It’s wonderful to meet you. I’m Tony, and this—” he gestures behind him, towards the teenager that only sinks lower in his seat, scowl deepening even further, “—is my son, Harley.”
Despite the clear disinterest in the situation, Harley still glances towards James and huffs out a reluctant, “Hello, Mr. Rhodes,” before turning his head towards the wall and acting as if none of them are there.
James smiles at him, even though he’s no longer looking. “Hello, Harley. It’s nice to meet you.” Then, turning towards Tony, he extends a hand and says, “And you, Mr. Stark. You can call me James.”
Tony’s face twists. “As long as you call me Tony."

Dinah loops the necklace around her neck and, with the help of the mirror by the door, swaps out her diamond studs for two twin birds. A fringed jacket is pulled from the closet, draped over her bodysuit to keep off the autumn chill. Boots are tied, hair pulled back.
She’s halfway out the door when the static crackles in her ears.
“Hey there, Black Canary,” come the cool, automated tones of the Oracle. “Took you long enough.”

Dinah doesn't even know what the woman looks like. The only piece of Oracle she has is that voice, and meanwhile Oracle has probably dug up secrets Dinah didn’t even know she was keeping. It's something she tries not to think about, and ends up thinking about too much, rolling it over and over in her mind like a loose molar, a little painful, a little dizzying.

Summary
Jason finds the wound on Bruce’s throat with unerring accuracy, and coaxes the clotted blood there to soften with a few licks. When he latches on, he drinks in hasty draws. His hands flex against Bruce’s chest in a mimicry of a kitten’s kneading. Bruce’s vision swims.
A moment later, Dick grasps Jason’s shoulder. “That’s enough, Jay.”
Jason growls—a weak, reedy noise—and digs blunt teeth against Bruce’s throat in his desperation to hold on.
“It’s alright,” Bruce says, laying his hand over Dick’s.
Dick meets his eyes. “He’ll kill you.”
Let him, Bruce thinks. Oh, god, let him.
After his murder, Jason’s family brings him back to life.

Summary
He’s so used to Eduardo being around most days, Bart doesn’t see the signs that are staring him right in the face.
The first time Bart pops a boner eating a whole pizza at home by himself, he doesn’t think much of it.
Like sure, it’s weird, but he’s kind of weird so it’s not alarming. He figures he’s just bored and horny, (he’s always horny these days anyway). So he just finishes his food and then handles it after. It doesn’t take very long considering he’s basically leaking by the time he takes the last bite.
He doesn’t correlate the two things as being even slightly related.
Or, somewhere during his relationship, Bart conditions himself to associate eating and pleasure together. He doesn't really notice until it becomes a serious problem. The weight is piling on. It's getting harder to control. He just hopes his boyfriend doesn't think it's too weird.
