"Let's see what's inside! Maybe I'll get carrots instead of cabbages today," Bennett says hopefully.
He hits the lock with the butt of his sword and the lid pops open. Venti says something under his breath that Bennett doesn't quite catch. The top of the chest creaks as he pushes it open and a gasp leaves his lips. There isn't any carrots inside. Nor are there cabbages. Instead, there is a pouch of 500 mora, a couple of old books and some special ores.
"Holy whoa! We hit the jackpot!" He exclaims.
"Looks like your luck is changing," Venti laughs. He moves closer, peering into the chest and lets out a dejected sigh. "Would have been better if there was a bottle of wine in there."
Venti joins Bennett on an adventure and Bennett has a rare lucky day!

At the time, all she saw was his constant exhaustion, the burden placed on him from their parents’ passing. She knew at once that she had to help him out with his duties as the Yashiro Commissioner.
What kind of a sister would she be if she didn’t? What kind of human being would she be if all she did was sit in the comfortable estate, lazing about while her brother was working his hardest day and night to keep the clan successful?
So she ignored his comments and worked harder than ever. She trained her hardest everyday until she could barely lift her sword. And then, the fateful day came. She beat Ayato in a duel and thus took over the internal and external affairs of the clan.
She doesn’t regret helping him. Not in the slightest. But on some days when she’s out, managing some kind of festival, and she sees the children running about, bright smiles on their faces, she’s brought back to what could’ve been.
But it’s all in the past. She can’t do anything about it now.

Ayaka reflects on how perfect she has always tried to be and wonders if she’s allowed to be selfish, for once.
