Join Star, Marco, and their whole interdimensional extended family, as they live and love and grow together and tackle challenges in their new world.
This work is two loosely connected parts - a comic set about 7 years after the end of the show at Star and Marco’s 3rd anniversary party, and a series of mostly disconnected short stories that explore the journey from right after Cleaved up until that point. These stories can be read entirely independently of the comic, and the comic is roughly 80% independent from the text (it has its own story, but much of the worldbuilding and backstory will be addressed in the fanfiction side of things), and we highly recommend you read both simultaneously in the order of release, as there will be some ties between each comic page and its associated story.
AO3 hosts the fanfiction component (including the pics for each). Check out my Tumblr (@Ngame989) for the full project! Also, note that the series is generally rated T and the single M rated chapter has a T-rated version on other sites.

Summary
The door to Mike’s garage burst open. Mike scrambled backward, body feeling heavy from the water on his clothes. From the door came Will Byers. His bowl-cut was longer and overgrown. He wore a grey shirt with red and blue stripes and red denim shorts. He looked pained. This makes no sense, Mike thought. This was a younger Will, from the summer of 1985. How was Mike back here?
“Will? What's going on?” Mike asked the younger Will.
“Will, come on!” came another voice. “You can’t leave, it’s raining!”
It was Mike at fourteen. He looked awful; he had a bright yellow striped shirt with grey shorts. He was a gangly mess of long limbs. His hair… Mike was embarrassed of his past self.
“Listen, I said I was sorry, alright? It’s a cool campaign, it’s really cool. We’re just not in the mood right now!” the younger Mike explained. Will didn’t stop packing his bag. He spun on Mike.
“Yeah, Mike! That’s the problem, you guys are never in the mood anymore. You’re ruining our party!” the younger Will shouted.

Mike wasn’t totally sure what made him accept this summer camp job- definitely not his father, who told him he was wasting good internship time on friendship bracelets. Maybe it was his girlfriend of about a year sitting him down and telling him this just wasn’t working anymore, that it wasn’t him except it kind of was because he didn’t love her. And though he told her he did, he always had, even he couldn’t put up too much of a fight, not when he knew she wasn’t exactly lying.
So now El was off backpacking in Sweden and Mike was here, spending his days trying to teach little brats how to swim, not thinking about El and certainly not thinking about-
“Will!” Dustin called over his megaphone. “The banners look great. You’re doing a terrific job.”
