It’s Will’s chance to be normal — to be a stupid kid for once since that November of 1983 when he went missing and Richie Tozier is part of that normal, whether he wants him to be or not.
Richie Tozier has been in Lenora all of three years when the first interesting person to move here crops up in his life. Will is different, haunted, and beautiful in a way that he recognizes; in a way that stirs his blood. Familiar. He pursues a friendship with him based on this haunting familiarity and together the two cross boundaries that, in hindsight, would’ve been better if left alone.
