Summary
In the summer between his fifth and his sixth year, Regulus Black is given a simple order: hide a diary in a safe, secret spot at Hogwarts, and he’ll be rewarded with the dark mark. The alternative is death. Regulus is not one for dualism; when he can’t find a pre-made way to do something, he creates one.
While trying to discover what kind of magic has been used for Voldemort’s diary, he gets deep into dark magic and history of the wizarding community. What ties a murder happened thirty years prior, a diary and dark magic? Regulus is one step away from the answer when the diary gets stolen.
The Chamber of Secrets is open, classmates and friends are in danger, and rumour has it someone will die again before Yule. Will Regulus manage to close the Chamber before the worst happens? And what will that mean for his future?

First thing's first: I ORIGINALLY WANTED THIS TO BE A ONE SHOT.
Looking back I immediately knew the second I started writing that it would in fact- not be a one shot. Big surprise? No, not at all.Second: I wrote this for my best friend and I. We got sucked INTO Jegulus and Wolfstar. It's a rabbit hole we are never getting out of.
JK Rowling owns all the HP characters mentioned :(
But the characterization is all me :)I know this ship isn't for everyone-

Summary

James doesn’t really know, to be honest. The Black family is a high-rolling crime syndicate at this point, shoddily disguised as a media conglomerate. He's not sure how much of a role Regulus plays since he’s still in university, but as soon as he graduates, he’ll take his rightful place in that den of vipers.
And one day, he will own it.
“The simplest answer is no," he sighs.

Nothing brings people together more viscerally than mutual hatred. Regulus Black would know.
Or the fic in which Regulus Black, after two years of estrangement from one meddlesome Sirius Black, agrees to accompany his brother and his brother’s horrible friends on a one-week vacation at a cabin in rural Norway, all in the glorious name of hatred (or is it love?).

Summary

“I can see that, studying for your O.W.Ls, right?
“Yes.” Regulus hissed.
“I don’t remember horcruxes being on my O.W.Ls, is there a new curriculum? I hadn’t heard.” Lupin said in an awfully insinuating tone. It was odd for Lupin to bring up horcruxes in specific, why not another one of the many pieces of magic in the book.Canon divergent set in 1977-1979 following Remus and Regulus in the early days of the war. Remus is sent to investigate the werewolves starting in sixth year rather than seventh and Regulus ends up taking the dark-mark early after hearing something particularly interesting from Slughorn. With the changes and challenges these two events lead to, the pair ends up working together to discover the inner workings of Voldemort's plans and form an odd partnership in hopes to thwart it.
