He collides his hand with hers with the same amount of flair, their grip on each other tightening. "You're on!"

When Isha's elementary school is having a gingerbread building competition for parents, Jinx and Ekko plan to make theirs individually. When they find out she can only take one, they're not too happy.

After Jinx bumps into Ekko randomly on campus, she's immediately attracted to him. What are the odds he sends her a text, slowly leading her to want him even more with every interaction.

Ekko huffs out a laugh at that. "You could say that."
"No worries." She quickly drummed her fingers against the car. "Some ice cubes, a few industrial fans, it'll be as good as new."
"Woww.. Top service here, huh?" He could already tell that she was interesting.

Because of his horrible car, Ekko has no choice but to go to the nearest car repair shop. There, he meets Powder, one of the workers. As she fixes his car, he can't help but be enticed by her. Their soon friendship quickly becomes something more— Between many trips to the repair shop and other encounters, romance blossoms between them. -

She and Ekko talked a lot about what they'd do once the baby was born. Taking turns changing diapers, waking up in the middle of the night to check on the baby, feeding schedules..
But reality set in for Jinx, and she wasn't apart of that schedule. She couldn't bare to even touch her baby. And she hated herself for it.

Jinx crossed her arms, letting out a sigh. Was she upset? Her mom rarely got upset with her. Isha's heart was practically beating out of her chest as she stared down at her. She didn't move from her position, so her leg was still on the tree. Should she just make a run for it?
"I can see up your skirt." Jinx teased, smiling now. She knew exactly what she was up to.
