A strange feeling comes over Baran, the corners of her mouth curving in the beginnings of an uncertain smile, an alarm going off somewhere in the back of her brain.
Over the course of her career, Baran has seen tens of thousands of cases, of which a thousand, probably more, have been standard fall injuries from household accidents. She’s also seen a decent number that were less-than-accidental, and knows that they are, unfortunately, almost identical to the accidental ones.

Will Baran be able to break down the walls Trinity has built around herself and find the person she loves.
