Summary
Buck had never thought about becoming a father. Well, he had thought about it – he loves children – but none of his relationships had lasted long enough for Buck to really consider taking that step. However, life took him by surprise much sooner than he’d expected, presenting him with little Theo after a traggic accident. Buck is now learning how to be a dad and of course he has his team and family helping him.
Eddie never thought he’d reconnect with dance. That chapter of his life had been closed years ago; however, when Amber offers him a job at the school where she’s the principal, Eddie is reconnected with all the emotions he had forgotten. Everything is coming back and he needs to know how to deal with all of that without breaking down.
A Firefighter and a Dance Teacher meet, and they fall in love. However, they have a lot to deal with in their own lifes, would they be able to deal with each other and their feelings?

“Really?” Maddie asked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Alright. Let me put it in words you might understand.” She cleared her throat, and then, in what Buck assumed was supposed to be an impression of him– “You’re always talking or texting each other, you sing karaoke together, you do Buff-Fridays, you finish each other’s sentences–”
“Oh come on, that’s – that is so not the same thing,” Buck interrupted, rolling his eyes. It sounded weak, even to him, but he kept his jaw clenched so it wouldn’t show on his face.
“Why not?” Maddie laughed, like the answer was obvious. When he didn’t say anything, her gentle mockery slowly morphed into something genuine, her eyes softening with a cloying pity that made Buck’s skin itch. “Don’t you want it to be?”
