    Summary

Inn proprietor Aziraphale finds Crowley insufferable. The man is rude and arrogant.
Cafe owner Crowley despises Aziraphale. The man is posh and fussy.
When the National Witch Association is snowed in at Heathrow Airport and is unable to attend the Solstice Dinner event that they booked and paid for, Aziraphale decides to take the chance and invite the lovely people of Tadfield to spend the night at the Inn. If he extends the invitation to Crowley and his niece, it's only out of kindness towards the latter.
Certainly it isn't because he's in any way attracted to Crowley, no. No.

The premise of this story is very loosely based on one of our (both, Di’s and Hogs’s) favourite Gilmore Girls episodes The Bracebridge Dinner. You absolutely don't have to be familiar with the show to enjoy this fic, but if you are you might recognise a few references and Easter eggs. No, RP Taylor is not a misspelling. Apart from the bare premise and some references, the two stories don't really have much in common.

    Summary

I wrote this story with the idea of exploring what happens in between the flashbacks and the mini-episodes that go from Edinburgh 1827 to the moment Aziraphale and Crowley meet again in 1967, because there’s a thread that ties them all together, and that thread is holy water.
I wanted to stick to canon as much as possible, but obviously, with the Ineffables I can never quite keep my urge to see them together under control, not even in one-shots, let alone in a long fic. So yes, there’s a completely non-canon love confession, and a period where Aziraphale and Crowley are actually a couple.
Another small non-canon detail: at the beginning of the story, Crowley doesn’t live in Mayfair but in Bloomsbury for plot reasons.
The original Italian title is a common saying whose literal translation would be “Like the devil and holy water.” It refers to two opposite, incompatible things or people that repel each other. Since it’s impossible to translate it faithfully into English, I chose an alternative that conveys the meaning of the original expression, though sadly it loses the reference to holy water.

The fic is complete, I’ll be posting one chapter every Sunday.

    Summary

After breaking up with his partner a few days before Christmas, Yale professor Aziraphale Eastgate decides to go back to England to keep a promise he made to his mother before she died.
Looking for accommodations in Tadfield, he gets in touch with Beez, who announces that their cottage is only available for home exchange.
Aziraphale accepts their proposal and finds himself all alone in Tadfield for Christmas.
What he isn’t expecting is Beez’ insanely gorgeous brother knocking on his door on his first night at the cottage, and waltzing into his life to change his beliefs about love.

    Summary

    An immediate bond…

    An irresistible attraction…

    A fraught reunion.

Follow these three threads in the lives of Asher Eastman and Antonio Crowley as they strive to find the balance between friendship and fate…between duty and freedom…between heartbreak and hope.

This story is for @Chandyowlet, who was the winning bidder on my 2025 Fandom Trumps Hate fanfic auction. The request was for an exploration of the risks and consequences for gay men serving in the US military in the mid-1990s — peak season of the infamous “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy that resulted in so many dishonorable discharges for the ‘crime’ of being queer. Ash and Tonio burst into my brain to tell their story; I adore these two, and I hope you’ll all enjoy their journey through darkness and toward the light 💛

New chapters will be posted on Tuesdays, with the sixth and final chapter dropping on December 23.

    Summary

Professors Anthony Crowley and Aziraphale Fell do not like each other.

    They despise one another.

In fact, most would more than likely describe them as being mortal enemies if nothing else.

Rivals in their field of Philosophy at a prestigious university, they clash in nearly every sense of the word, doing their absolute best to either 1) go out of their way to metaphorically rip the each other to shreds, or 2) aggressively and/or spitefully avoid the other.

So what happens when one of them is rather unexpectedly chosen as Head of Department over the other?

Tensions— inevitably and ineffably— reach a breaking point.
