“Are… are you sure about this…?” Nerves tinged the edges of Kaveh’s voice at the question, bringing it to a near whisper, though high-pitched and slightly needy. It had Alhaitham tilting his head in curiosity, the corner of his lip twitching up in a teasing smirk.
Kaveh bit his lip, clearly anxious, and added, “We’ve… you- you know, we’ve never tried this yet, after all… I just…”
As much as he wanted to tease the man, he went quiet for a moment, taking stock of the situation lying pliant on the bed beneath him.
"Is there any reason I wouldn't be?"

There had been a time in his life where he could not imagine bathing in a cold river in the early twilight of evening. But then again, the Kaveh from before would not have had the confidence to imagine a great many things, so perhaps the water flowing around him is the least of his concerns.

Alhaitham is the Prince of the Zora and Kaveh is, very decidedly, not the Champion Hero everybody is talking about. (And all the better for it. Kaveh's pretty sure Alhaitham isn't interested in that kind of excitement. Not when his alternative is a lazy tour of Hyrule with his very pretty traveling companion.)
