He never went further than Rome, but the guy originally assigned for the job was suddenly murdered, shot dead in a bar, just a day before the hit needed to be carried. Passione then decided Risotto, a dealer with a part time hit, was fit for an emergency substitute.
And by emergency, it meant paying for his own gas, meals and the cheapest hotel with a working heater. After the hit was done, they’d reimburse him.
Apparently, the biggest mafia in Italy was a fucking joke.
