The story of the Dragon Master went like this:
He appeared five years ago, riding the only known Nightfury alive as of today. He came in the night in armor made of gleaming black scales raiding dragon hunter ships, his face obscured by a matching mask. No one knows the mans true identity, and if they do, they never lived long enough to tell.
It was rumored that he would bring the dragons he saved back to his island. It remained hidden, a haven for the beasts he rescued. So hidden, in fact, that many believed it lay at the very end of the world; people called it the Edge.
Rumor has it that he's building a dragon army, so large that he could burn entire islands within minutes and disappear in the same amount of time.
No one knows who he is, but Jack does.
The Dragon Master straddled his hips. He gripped Jack’s wrists above his head with one hand, grabbing his sword and bringing it to Jack’s throat.
“Give me one reason I shouldn’t use this,” He snarled, and Jack recognized that nasally voice anywhere. It couldn't be true; it was impossible. He'd died during the battle with the Red Death five years ago, and yet...
“Hiccup?"

Summary
A magical vortex hides an archipelago frozen in time, home to mythical creatures: dragons. Its stubborn but believing people spark a long-lost hope in the Guardians: to belong to a community again. North built a bridge by introducing his workshop to Berk's most chaotic anomalies: the Thurston twins. A risky choice, but one that opened doors.
Now, the North Pole is sending an ambassador to learn Berk's customs, and Jack is the chosen one. Berk's fate depends on his stay: will the Guardians undo the vortex and free them to the modern world, or does the anomaly actually protect them?

Summary
Hiccup Haddock is just trying to survive senior year, robotics club, debate team, a crush on Astrid he can't work up the nerve to act on, and a dad who's the city's police chief and increasingly hard to talk to. Then a lab accident changes everything, and Hiccup finds himself with abilities he never asked for and a growing double life he can't tell anyone about, not his mom, not his best friend, and definitely not the infuriatingly charming new guy, Jack, who keeps popping up everywhere Hiccup goes.
As Hiccup learns what it means to have power he didn't choose, he also starts to realize his heart's been quietly changing its mind about who he wants standing next to him when things get hard. But something is stalking the city that feeds on exactly that kind of want, and Hiccup is about to learn that the people you love most can also be the easiest way to hurt you.
