Summary

“Sorry,” Ken says. “I know I shouldn’t be awake. Kirijou-san wouldn’t be happy either. I couldn’t sleep, which I know isn’t an excuse to be down here risking waking people up, but I just…”
Ken trails off. Makoto waits for him to elaborate, but he doesn’t. On a better night, Makoto would put down his bag and offer to warm Ken some milk, maybe stick around and talk to him for a while about whatever must be troubling him enough to keep him up. He already promised he’d be in for a shift tonight, though, and he does need the money to buy Junpei some new armour, so it’s not like he can linger for too long.
He doesn’t like the idea of just leaving, though, even if he tells Ken that he’s not upset at him before doing so. Makoto weighs his options, then adjusts his bag, giving Ken a little nod.
“Do you want to come with me?”

It feels like a hand has reached into your head and started turning things around. Protect your friends. Hurt the enemy. You drop your evoker so you can settle both hands on your spear, eyes fixed on Akihiko as he bounces back from the snakes. You lunge.
Explores the 'charm' effect as something disturbing for the character experiencing it, the mistrust it engenders with the rest of the party even once it's worn off. T Rating is just erring on the side of caution for violence/blood, MC/Akihiko is established, mostly implied and not hugely focal.

Summary
After a close call in Tartarus, an ashamed Ken withdraws into his hoodie and sulks mutely in the Iwatodai lobby. Mitsuru insists that an exhausted Yukari should talk him through his feelings, even though Yukari blames him for the failures of the night. Yukari concedes to the ask, and the rest of the party departs for bed, leaving the two of them alone.
Fluorescents hum overhead, eyes are heavy: "you're still just a kid, Ken."
The comfy chair is empty, an old friend used to sleep there: "are you even listening to me?"
The mind wants it over with, the heart wants it resolved: "please...speak to me."

"Hello there," A young voice broke through the haze, calling out faintly from above him.
...what?
Emil opened his eyes and gazed up at a young, brown-haired girl. She looked to be similar in age to him and wore a long, flowing white dress that hung around her ankles. Her green eyes sparkled with life, and she looked well-polished and clean.
"How are you?" She asked, reaching a hand down towards him.
His body still trembled, but somehow, staring at another person made the fear in his chest calm ever so slightly. He opened his mouth to speak but found that the words were stuck in his throat.
"You can hold my hand if you want," She said, smiling gently. "My father told me it helps sometimes."
