Summary
Kaoru’s feelings towards Kyoya were touch and go. He wanted a relationship but it seemed unattainable for so many reasons. For all he knew the Shadow King was uninterested and was going to be just as cold as he normally was. However, after a rocky coming out to Hikaru, Kaoru needs an ear desperately. Little did he know that the truth always works its way out of the dark.
Kyoya knew something was up with the twins. He was curious, yet knew to keep his nose out of it until absolutely necessary. It was only a matter of time before Kyoya would hear of it. After all, Kaoru was full of surprises and Kyoya was along for the ride. Kyoya’s missing cufflinks were one small piece of his and Kaoru’s story and somehow, they remained at the center of it all.
Meant to be a collection of short stories focused on small snapshots of the Kyoya/Kaoru pairing, this story became a full-blown, multi-chapter fanfiction without my intention (but enjoy regardless :P). This work also includes some Hikaru/Haruhi and Tamaki/Haruhi elements set in a current time period instead of the early 2000s. More tags to be added and warnings/rating are subject to change.

Her mouth opens, shuts. It seems Lan Wangji’s words were stolen from her, the few that she had. Wei Wuxian’s eagle eye goes to her hands, in her lap. Long, pretty fingers with carefully clipped nails. Reaching down, she grabs her wrist with a laugh, and Lan Wangji’s eyes get slightly wider.
“Even your hands are nice and big, Lan Zhan! Ooo. I bet,” she says, a devilish smiling curling up her lip, “you could even hold my whole tit in one hand. Do you wanna try?”
Lan Wangji just stares at her, stoney still like she’d fallen under the stare of a gorgon.

Summary
I’ve reviewed all five of The Gavinners’ albums now, alongside several of their singles and EPs, and this is the first time since their debut single "Thirteen Hard Years For Love" (back when the legal references were an interesting lyrical choice and not a tired gimmick) that I’ve seen even a glimpse of potential from the band. "Atroquinine, My Love" is honestly a decent song, as well as proof that The Gavinners could be capable of making good music. Unfortunately, this is most likely a fluke. They’ll continue making formulaic, commercialised pop-rock that most people only listen to because the frontman is hot, because that’s where the money is. And I’ll continue to review their songs because I have rent to pay.
I can only pray that I’m wrong, but for now I can’t say "Love Without Parole" has been anything more than a disappointment.

“Wait!” Atsumu blurts out before he can take more than a few steps. He freezes, medicine clutched in one hand, mouth open in shock behind his facemask as he realizes his brain cannot keep up with his treacherous mouth. His neighbor lifts a curious brow at him and he hurries to continue. “I’m yer neighbor.”
There’s a brief pause and then, “I know. Ya got the ficus. Real pretty.”
Atsumu knows—he absolutely knows that he’s referring to the plant but he can’t help the way his ears warm under the compliment as if it is he himself who’s receiving it. The plant probably wouldn’t appreciate it the same way he does anyway.
It takes one poor ficus, two balconies, three cats, and way too many plants, but Atsumu learns how to confess to his crush eventually.

Unfortunately, Akaashi draws the short straw and has to tattoo the guy, but that doesn't mean he can't have a little fun with pushing Bokuto's buttons and seeing how much he can take.
He even invites him back for a late night "tattoo" session that might not be entirely professional.
