Summertime was absolutely, one-hundred-percent the best season of the year, according to Otoya. Nice weather, fun activities, cute girls galore... What more could he ask for? And taking a drive down to the beach for a day was one of his favorite things to do on a warm day, especially when he could convince his best friend Karasu to deal with the transportation for him. But after seeing how Karasu chose to spend his time curled up in a beach chair instead of joining in on any beach activities with their other friends, Otoya decided to take it upon himself to get him off his ass so he could actually have some fun... and maybe even step foot into the water, despite Karasu's fear of it.

Summary
Throughout his time at Blue Lock, there were a lot of things Eita Otoya had learned. He had gone into the program on a whim, thinking it sounded cool and fun and was definitely his ticket to becoming the world's best, so he didn't really have many expectations for using his brain and learning, but he had really surprised himself. And one of the most important things he had learned at Blue Lock was less about something and more about someone. There were five major things that he had learned about this person, actually, and somehow fate had decided that it would change his life just as much as the actual football-playing would. It was weird how things happened sometimes, but Otoya didn't mind all too much. It all worked out in the end, so he was pretty happy.

It was a well-kept secret that Tabito Karasu was a big nature lover. It wasn't like he had never said anything appreciatory of the scenery before, but it was a little embarrassing to admit that he was the kind of guy who still got excited over the little things like blooming buds and sunsets. He'd rather keep that part of his personality to himself.
But when a certain best friend of his shows up as he's helping out a newly-emerged butterfly at a local park, Karasu realizes that there are some people who he's okay with getting to see his inner self a bit more.

Summary
As an up-and-coming competitive Pokémon battling duo and longtime friends, Karasu Tabito and Otoya Eita have some time to prepare for their next big double battle tournament. So, as part of their pre-tournament training, Karasu decides their first stop would be in the Hoenn region and he's more than ready to put his best foot forward and take their week long training session seriously.
Otoya, however, has other plans... Most of which include sleeping off the summertime heat, dreaming of Unova and its delicious (and cold!) Casteliacones, and wishing he was anywhere but holed up in an AC-less secret base with an annoying, over-analyzing battle nerd nagging in his ear every day. Otoya's not sure what will come first: him melting underneath the sun or Karasu finally snapping and throwing him off of one of Route 119's cliffs. Why couldn't he at least get to suffer through this horrible training week with an actually cute tournament partner? Because if there was one thing Karasu was bad at, it was being cute.

Summary
The concept of time was an amazing thing.
Thinking about how, no matter what happened in the world, that time would keep ticking away… it was daunting. Still, it was a concept that Yukimiya found himself musing about more often than he probably should. Really, it wasn't something he used to think about nearly as much as he did now. It probably became an obsession of his as a high schooler, back when he received the news of his worsening eye condition. That was why he chose to take every opportunity that showed itself to him; the clock above his head would continue to tick away no matter what he chose to do, so he had to stay focused on his future so he didn't miss out on anything and regret it later on when he ran out of time.
And speaking of running out of time, it was late April in his senior year of college, and Yukimiya was currently spending a lovely, surprisingly warm Saturday afternoon out exploring the suburbs outside of the city with his two dearest friends. As graduation approached, the three of them had been finding more excuses to spend time together, wanting to make the most of the rest of their final semester. He wished this day could last forever, as futile as that hope was.

Summary
As a junior in college pursuing his passion for soccer while also putting just as much focus into having a solid post-graduation career path, Tabito Karasu honestly thought he wouldn't have enough time for romance. And especially given how his last relationship had ended, he wasn't even sure he would be able to deal with that kind of stress; he wasn't exactly a fan of letting someone in just to get hurt by them. He would rather stay on track to graduating with honors even if it meant being alone.
But somehow that goddamned Eita Otoya was able to sneak his way through all of his defenses, painfully securing a place in his heart. They had been both roommates and teammates since the beginning of freshman year, and by now they also had easily solidified themselves as each other's best friend. They recently moved into an on-campus apartment with their other friend Kenyuu Yukimiya, and life was good. Karasu happened to have feelings for Otoya, but he had had this affliction for the better half of two years so it was something he was unfortunately just trying to get used to. He tried to ignore it most of the time since Otoya didn't feel the same; he was straight.
Sometimes it really didn't feel that way, though.

Eita Otoya was struggling. Ever since he was old enough to know what love and romance was he had been a bit of a womanizer, finding the thrill of getting pretty girls to date him exciting and fun. It was a fundamental part of who he was: Otoya was easy-going, a bit of an ass (an understatement), and really liked girls. But now as a sophomore in college, he had been wondering why he couldn't seem to keep himself interested a relationship after he scored a date. His friends claimed he never actually liked any of the girls he dated, but that made no sense to him. Yeah, maybe everyone he had dated was kind of boring, but that didn't mean he didn't actually like them, right? And on top of that, he had been getting bothered by this weird feeling in his chest that kept annoying him whenever he hung out with his best friend Karasu. Seriously, what was up with that?
This was shaping up to be a long year.

When Hifumi had suggested that he try to “woo” Dr. Jakurai Jinguji, Doppo thought his partner was out of his mind. Jakurai was their team leader and was practically a celebrity in their area, so he probably had tons of people fighting for his affections. And he seemed far too busy to be looking for a relationship, anyway. And even if Jakurai was possibly interested in dating someone, why would he want to date him of all people? Maybe he would be interested in Hifumi, but in Doppo’s mind there was no way Jakurai could have feelings for him.
But Hifumi seemed confident when he told Doppo that he would help him get together with Jakurai, because he and Doppo were a package deal and if Jakurai agreed to date Doppo then he was basically agreeing to date him, too. The blond didn’t seem to care when Doppo informed him that that was very much not how relationships worked at all. He already had some kind of plan, and Doppo knew from a lifetime of experience that when Hifumi set his mind to something, no matter how crazy it sounded, then there was nothing he could do to stop him.

Summary
Fugo was punished for speaking out against them, but life would continue as normal the next day. Well, sometimes they would give him a cold shoulder, and sometimes they would threaten to stop paying for his education, but once he apologized and asked for their forgiveness everything would be okay again.
Except for now, apparently. Fugo’s parents had been at their wits end with his “attitude”, and instead of doing the logical thing and getting him help, they decided to punish him more. After their most recent argument where Fugo finally admitted that he didn’t even want to study law, they decided to push back his internship until the following summer and teach him a “proper lesson”. Now Fugo was on his way to this place called the Bucciarati Family Farm. He barely had had time to get info on the place before his bags were being packed and his driver was whisking him away from his house. His brothers sneakily laughed at him the whole time he was leaving, and since he was feeling spiteful he spit on one of their shoes as he walked by. Fuck them, fuck everyone here.
(Basically, Fugo is sent to work on a farm for the summer as punishment, but it ends up being the best decision ever made for him.)
