Hyunjae was a tall, blond young man and despite his soft look he was nothing but straight up stubborn when it came to getting justice Don’t take it the wrong way, he was a police officer, part of a special unit, and he and his partner have solved more cases than any other team in the entire state.
His partner, Sangyeon, had a more fierce look with analysing eyes and being two inches shorter than Hyunjae didn’t make him any less intimidating. If you looked closer his strong aura would make your knees weak.
Hyunjae knew that if Sangyeon was the one calling instead of the station’s captain then something wasn’t right.

“Minho-hyung?” Han said again, softer now, barely above a whisper. “Still with us?”
He wanted to answer. He could hear them. God, he could hear them so clearly- warm, familiar, worried.
But his mouth wouldn’t move. His tongue felt thick, useless.
Something was wrong.
Something was very, very wrong.
“Okay,” Chan murmured, already shifting into motion, hands steady but gentle as he guided Minho by the elbow. “Let’s get you sitting, okay? Nice and easy, we’ve got you.”
