Summary
Sunny hasn't visited his friends during the 11 months after moving away from Faraway.
His mom finally saves up enough money for the trip, and Basil is the first of Sunny's friends to know that he's coming back in town.
The others have struggled to work out their feelings about Sunny's confession to killing Mari, but now that they're together again, it gets easier to accept the truth together - and maybe even embrace it.
Basil and Sunny are no longer guilty, but now Basil feels guilty for something else... something that fully manifests over the three nights that Sunny and his mom spend in Faraway.
Something maybe he's just never had the time to face before.
Basil just hopes that this time, he won't have to face it alone.
