Will had invited the doctor here tonight to finish the game between them, for one to kill the other. But Hannibal didn’t want to kill him.... He wanted to mate him.
Or the one where Will figures it out but instead of calling Jack, he lures Hannibal to his home for a reckoning. Things go downhill for Will after that.....

I wrote this the Hugh Dancy way, i.e., "in the bath with a drink to hand." If you've read my other stuff, you know I don't normally write this sort of thing, so please be kind. This was very much inspired by the Martin Sherman play, Bent (1979). I've only ever seen the film version (1997) starring Clive Owen.

Summary
Back in the day, Jack Crawford started a chatboard called CatchtheChesapeakeRipper so that everyone would have a place to consolidate information and confer.
This chatboard was almost immediately usurped by the irreverent and vastly more popular Cannibal Rumpus Asshole Factory, the brainchild of Price and Zeller. When you spend all day picking through dead bodies, sometimes you just really need a place to have fun.
As of S205, this is officially an AU. Rated for language.

Summary
The basic setup is from a Jane Austen book called Persuasion; however it will go its own way after the initial set-up. Basically, Hannibal was engaged to Will when they were both younger. However, due to the fact Will was poor and with no family to speak of and about to join the Navy, Bedelia and Hannibal's uncle had talked Hannibal into breaking off his engagement with Will. Seven years later, Hannibal and his uncle have to rent out their estate to get out of debt and decide to go to Bath, a resort town, to live until their financial situation stabilizes. While taking a detour to visit his sister, Hannibal meets with someone he didn't think he'd ever see again.
