“Mark Lee,” he says breathlessly, walking up; Donghyuck takes his proffered hand. His voice is the lowest fret on the bass guitar, and there’s something so warm and soft about his eyes that makes the ground fall away. The moment they touch, an electric current leaps between their skin, which Mark senses, dropping his hand. The air remains charged with tension that makes Mark stare bewildered like a deer caught in headlights.
Donghyuck clears his throat and turns away, heart hammering. He can’t understand what’s happening. Sure, this Mark guy is way hotter than he looked in the grainy pixeled video, hot enough to be an actor himself. But Donghyuck isn’t gay. Right?

Mark zeroes in like it’s his personal hobby, pushing buttons Haechan didn’t even know he had. And fine, maybe it works but seriously what was this guy's problem? All Haechan knew was that Mark was relentless— just irritating enough to get under his skin, but never enough for Haechan to actually call him out.
