"This is Ilya Rozanov. He took notice of your skill. He is here to offer new job."
Shane looks at the beautiful man again, struggling to wrap his mind around what he's hearing. Ilya's face is carefully blank, but there's a small trace of amusement in his eyes as he flicks away the ashes from his cigarette.
"Is better job, Leonid," he says, his voice smooth and deep with the same thick accent as Leonid and Vasily. "You can admit it."
Leonid mutters something in Russian, and the corner of Ilya's mouth lifts ever so slightly as his eyes shift to Shane. His breath catches, warmth spreading to the very tips of his fingers at being the sudden focus of his attention.
"How much do you make now?" Ilya asks, stubbing his cigarette out in an ashtray and rising to his feet.
At a loss for what to say, Shane watches as Ilya steps around the coffee table and gracefully buttons his suit jacket.
"Never mind," he says, waving off his own question. "I will pay you more."

Dr. Robby reaches out to him, tugs at the collar of his shirt, Dennis has never been more aware of the way it shows the sharpness in his collarbones and the shiny gold of his chain than he is right now. Asks him, “Ran out of scrubs?” all easy, like the heat of his fingers aren’t burning Dennis raw. He’s scared to look at Robby, scared to look at Abbot. A little worried about how he’s pretty sure his chest is turning red from the blush too. They glance at each other, unreadable, but he’s sure it’s something in their weird secret shorthand, and Robby pulls Dennis away from the row of lockers, dragging him along by the collar. It stretches a little further than it should, and Dennis hears a few stitches pop. He probably shouldn’t have been wearing this shirt out in public even before, but especially not now.

He will pretend not to notice that Dennis has smoked the flipped, lucky cigarette that he always saves for last, the one that Dennis always picks without looking, without meaning to. He will pretend not to notice that the fluid in the lighter has diminished from Dennis’s fidgeting, his inability to do nothing with his hands.
Robby will pretend not to notice, and he will love him even harder.
