Despite the butterflies suddenly fluttering in his stomach, Chan rests his head against Minho's head. He rubs their heads together to show his affection before settling down and closing his eyes. It's comfy, and maybe if he's lucky he'll be able to have a short nap.Or, Chan is really surprised that Minho picked him for their heart kids room, and maybe somewhere along the lines he realises that, wait, he actually likes Minho!

Bang Chan doesn’t think being a vampire is hard. If he's being honest, it’s actually enjoyable - his skin is always smooth and nice, he doesn’t experience pain, and gets to have all the time in the world. He has friends, has his passions, and even as a human had always been prone to leading a nocturnal life so it’s not like that is odd to him. Bang Chan doesn’t remember how to be alive anyways.
Though, there is one small and tiny, so to say, nicety. Bang Chan doesn’t like to hurt living beings.
And, sadly, being a vampire involves that rather often.

“Join Jisung and I tonight,” Seungmin murmurs, in an uncharacteristically soft tone, as if he were cradling Minho close to his chest as he does Felix or Jisung, speaking to him as if he were someone precious and not just the king’s burden to bear. It hurts when Minho knows it’s just his imagination. “We can talk more then.”
“Are you sure?” Minho asks, clenching his fist behind his back tight enough to feel his nails dig into his palm.
Seungmin clenches and unclenches his fists at his sides. “Why wouldn't I be?”
I am your cross to bear. I am a nail in your coffin. I am the thorn in your side. I am. I am. I am.
“Nevermind,” Minho shakes his head and turns to Seungmin, bowing once more. He thinks his nails have broken skin. “See you tonight, then.”
