“I’m fine,” Jimin says.
(He says it a lot, actually.)
It starts small: quiet moments when he's left alone, restless thoughts when Yoongi isn’t around, the kind of anxiety that settles in his chest and refuses to leave, words that never quite come out right. What follows is less a straight path to healing and more a series of overthinking, pulling away, and being gently pulled back.
Yoongi, for his part, is patient. Observant. And a little too good at holding him.
Or: Jimin is trying (he swears he is), and Yoongi meets him there anyway.

Summary
Yoongi’s eyebrows furrowed as he slowly raised his hands to cup his cheeks instead, his anger fading. “Jiminie.” He whispered softly, wiping away the tear. “What’s wrong?”
“You’re gonna go away.”
The words were said so softly that he wouldn’t be surprised if Yoongi couldn’t hear him. The Yoongi his imagined of course. This time it hurt the most because of how real it felt. How real Yoongi felt.
“Baby,” Yoongi tugged Jimin closed to him, pressing his lips to Jimin’s forehead. “Don’t cry.”
Jimin continued to let the tears softly fall down his cheeks. He couldn’t help it. It felt like Yoongi was actually kissing him. He could feel him everywhere, yet his brain kept telling him he wasn’t. Everything was becoming too much and all he wanted was his boyfriend to actually be there.

Jimin wants Yoongi to come back to life... he did not expect that to happen though.

“Oh don’t act like that. We all know that you two have a thing. You’re so soft for him, Min Yoongi, it’s quite alarming.” Namjoon softly patted his back to help him breathe easier.
“I’m not soft for anyone.” Yoongi managed to get out after his mini choke session. “I live for myself and only myself.”
Namjoon smirked, knowing that was a complete lie.

The footsteps stop and he hears a sigh. “Jimin. You can’t scare a ghost.” Yoongi peaks his head in, making eye contact with the now pouty dancer.
“You always do this, hyung. Just let me have it this one time.” Jimin pouted even harder until Yoongi rolled his eyes.
