“Truth or dare?” she asks after a few moments of silence, resting her arms against the edge of the stone wall, propping her weight against it. It’d almost be easy to get lost in the vast expanse of the darkened sky like this, she thinks, with nothing between her and a valley of stars and galaxies, and Severa feels something close to small as the weight of the universe looks back at her. She’s but one drop, one star, in the breadth of this world pulled apart at the seams, still lucky enough to be alive, but unlucky enough to falter and struggle… and for what? She still doesn’t know.
“We’re still doing this? All right, let’s go with… truth,” Lucina answers after a pause, more than sure of herself.
Standing beside her, Lucina also gazes upwards, her murky hair hardly a shade lighter than the shadows devouring the horizon. Her brand looks like a constellation like this, a pretty birthmark of fate etched into the even the deepest fibers of her bones, and her eyes catch the light, dark lashes trapping stars with every blink.
“Do you ever think about running away?” Severa murmurs.

The way Yaomomo’s eyes glittered and her fringe kissed her cheek as she said admired was so unfair. They’re old friends, the conversation always flows easily between them — but whenever Ochako lets her guard down, she’s caught unaware. Pushed off-kilter by that soft, private thing in Yaomomo’s smile, or the fact that, as Ochako lifts the mug away from her face, she realizes it’s scented with the same pine perfume that wraps around Yaomomo’s neck.
OR: Midnight demands that Yaoyorozu and Uraraka organize the agency Christmas party. This is very bad for Uraraka, who can't stop blushing and awkwardly stammering around her crush... and very good for everyone else, who are vying to finally get the two pining lesbians together.

Ochako is so cute when she's stressed.
Cutting past the dark tang of Himiko's cigarette is that lovely, mouthwatering scent. Tart chamomile, oversteeping as the adrenaline builds, jagged and loud as it digs a home behind Himiko's fangs. Always pitching into a frenzy when Ochako grows desperate. And Himiko hates alphas who reek when their emotions overpower their restraint — which, at the disgustingly young age of first-semester freshman, is damn near all of them — but something about Ochako doesn't twist her gut quite like that. Something about Ochako makes her fangs ache, instead, itching for the far wall's clock to strike the hour and announce Himiko's permission to sink her teeth in already, to break.
OR: Struggling undergrad Uraraka Ochako is on the verge of failing out of her major. Jaded Ph.D. student Toga Himiko is all too happy to help.
