Aubrey hugged her knees, sobbing quietly to herself, she hated it all, she just wanted to scream, cry, throw everything and just let all of her emotions out. Maybe she should go beat up some trees with the hooligans later —she couldn’t show her face outside in public anymore. She hasn’t even gone to church in days despite saying she wanted to find some peace.

Sunny had forgotten to bring a sleeping bag, since he was so carried away with what other things he should pack on his way to visit Faraway Town again, it didn’t cross his mind he needed to bring a sleeping bag of his own, so Kel being Kel let Sunny rest on his bed for the night. The two didn’t mind of course, since the group had long known of their closeness and tight bond with each-other.

Ever since the truth had came out, and Sunny had moved, things have changed, perhaps for the better.
Kel always had in his mind if he should contact him now, he remembers that day significantly, how everyone ran out but him. He stood there, consoling Sunny. He could see those tears running down his pale cold cheeks, it stung his heart every-time he remembered that memory. Even if what Sunny did had affected everyone, he knows that it’s wrong to blame him for everything when it was an accident.
Sunny was his best friend, no.. he is his best friend. That won’t change, and even after everything, he missed him very much.
Perhaps was time he should contact him, after so many months.

Sunny is a bit of a shoe thief. The more difficult it is to find your shoes, the more he likes you. That just means you’d have to stay a little longer, and he always loves the extra time.
Mari doesn’t think it’s a coincidence that every time Kel comes over, it takes two extra hours just to find where his pair of shoes disappeared to.

It's been a year since Sunny told us, everyone, the truth.
I wouldn't say it's been easy, but we managed, eventually. Though things of course can't go back to the way they were, I mean, such is life right? But it is a shame that we can't just hang out normally as we used to ..
At least he's coming along to visit tomorrow after I begged him for a few weeks now via letters, Mom insisted it's more formal than just calling, but I can't stop wondering if they got lost in the system cause I never got a reply, oh well, maybe everything will just be nice and quiet tomorrow.
