Summary
He stands in front of his mirror in only his boxers, slowly picking apart his body. It was a part of his nightly routine. Atsumu had tried many different ways of trying to break himself out of this curse- hence the scars littering his body and his weak fingernails from shoving them down his throat. Or maybe the way too much hair falls out when he brushes or runs his hands through it. His secret would forever only be safe with him. The team was never happy at the fact that he didn’t like going out, or that’s what he had told them.

For a few minutes, Iwaizumi didn't say anything – instead, he just sat there in Atsumu's passenger seat shivering after trekking through the blizzard snowfall surrounding them to get here, holding his hands up against the heat vents until slowly, his shivering stopped and the cold flush on his cheeks melted into a much warmer hue.
He didn’t look mad. Atsumu felt like he was probably mad.
“So are you going to tell me how you ended up alone, in your car, in the park, in the middle of a snowstorm instead of – where you told us you'd be – with Osamu 500 kilometers away?”
Atsumu blushed.

Atsumu was the only one invited to the Japanese national volleyball camp? There was no way. He could feel the sneers of his teammates. He gulps and smiles as he accepts the invitation, he feels a glimmer of hope wash over him like a wave. Maybe this was his chance to prove that he was normal. A chance to prove he was more than his self inflicted cuts and bruises.
