Kuroo stretches his arms out until both his elbows pop—Suguru cringes—and declares, “I want to make a bet.”
“A bet,” Suguru echoes dubiously. This can’t be good.
“Yes.” Kuroo laces his fingers together over his knee, so serious all of a sudden, Suguru would’ve laughed if he weren’t so worried. “I’ll set the scene: there is exactly one person at this party I want to kiss tonight. If you can guess who it is—before midnight—I’ll get you drinks from my work for a week. And if you don’t guess, you have to get me food from that really good café at the business school for a week—you know, the one with the katsudon the entire student body would wage war for if we could? I can never remember its name, but—”
Suguru suddenly, inexplicably forgets the entirety of the Japanese language.

It does, however, surprise Hyeonjun to learn that Doran’s an omega.
It’s not like Hyeonjun is some awkward teenaged alpha who doesn’t know how to act around omegas. His family has never been all traditional about it like Minhyung’s is. He’s never done something for an omega that he wouldn’t for anyone else, never treated anyone different because of their secondary gender.
