He could almost hear the blood rushing through his veins, the quiver in his step. It was like a rushing flow of poseidon’s wrath had condemned him to drown, taking over his senses. He could hear them so clear, as if it was actually happening right at that moment, maybe it… was? He wasn’t sure. But it was so clear, and it was only becoming clearer.
Telemachus sucked in a breath, choking on it as his lungs spasmed searching for air, he felt so off. Like everything and nothing was crashing down on him all at once, so empty yet everything was too much. His hands felt cold pressed against his throat, willing for air to be let in. It hurt, everything hurt, his ears ringing, his head pounding, his eyes throbbing, the cries of those long since dead sounding. A resounding tone of death.

Toya took another step forward, breathing in the calm brisk air swirling past him. This was truly what Kohane had meant, he realised, this was what he needed to see. He felt a solum gloom settle over him if only for a moment. This is what he could have had if not for the strict teachings of his father, if not for the place that he had been born to fill unwillingly. He stared out at the path leading deep into the forest before him, watching as a mother and father swung their youngest child through the air with their hands. He watched as their other sons ran off and around them, their imagination filling the air with cheerful laughter.

Aizawa Shouta may sleep a lot, but he didn’t miss a lot. He noticed the trouble Kaminari had with learning, he saw the insecurities Jirou had about her voice, he noticed the way Uraraka would shy away from mentioning her apartment. He prided himself on it, and he tried to help and offer support the best he could, whether that be directly or through school mandated therapy sessions for his class.
But some thing were harder to notice, despite how loudly they screamed. To him Izuku Midoriya, class 1-a’s resident problem child was an open book, he wore his heart on his sleeve, never angry but always seemed to cry. He smiled easily, was open with his friends and always paid attention in class.
But some days, Izuku Midoriya was an enigma.

Xiao sighed and lowered his hand again, combing Albedo’s hair out of his face instead.
Albedo picked up his head then, meeting Xiao’s watchful golden eyes. “Wait. I…I didn’t tell you to stop.”
