Summary
‘You just had to, didn’t you?’ Pagan seethes, arms crossed and foot a-tapping as he glares over at a very smug Vanya. A smug, tall Vanya who keeps her gaze everywhere but on him. Even as her lips twitch, even as Pagan huffs just below her eyeline.
‘Hmm?’
‘Don’t you hmm me, you know full well what I’m talking about,’

Summary
"I had it shipped in, my boy, from the Amazonian!" The flourish was over the top, the grin was over the top, there wasn’t one thing that was quite normal in the entire room.
"From Amazon," Gary muttered, more to himself than anyone else as he placed a neat little stack of paperwork to Ajay’s left. Fantastic.

Summary
"A week ago, that same woman had been laid out on a seat in the grips of an anxiety attack, hyperventilating over the prospect of seventeen hours stuck in the air with him. And in the course of one day, one life or death situation, Pagan had managed somehow to inadvertently shove her through a needle-narrow pressure cooker and squeeze out some sort of lethal creature on the other side."

For Twenty-six years Vanya has done nothing more than study, work, and nanny Paul Harmon’s daughter on weekdays. Now that he’s been home for awhile, laid off from his lengthy business ventures, things have been interesting. An international deal gone sour leaves Paul in danger and now these lethal strangers are apparently after his loved ones too. This leaves her in the hands of a strange man named Pagan who assures her a country called Kyrat is the safest place for her while Paul picks up the pieces back in America.

Summary
Pagan Min is one of the world's most renowned archaeologists. Or, he was, until he took an early retirement. He's lived a quiet life, unbothered and content to garden his roses and assist worldly scholars on the side. Things have been lovely. Or, they were, until one Ajay Ghale comes knocking on his door with a rather... shooty disposition and a business proposition. Which is, unfortunately, precisely how he finds himself travelling halfway across the globe with the boy, chasing after the fabled Scion of Kyra.

Summary
The cheap revolver that Ajay Ghale trained on the convenience store clerk that day was never supposed to be loaded.
But it was, and a tragic accident in the middle of his armed robbery attempt certainly looked an awful lot like cold-blooded murder instead. That and the fact that he panicked and fled across state lines is how he now finds himself sentenced to life without parole at the ripe old age of twenty-seven.
And Ajay's not even an inmate of Stockard Federal Penitentiary for a whole day before he manages to catch the notice of some weird older guy named Pagan.
Maybe the wrong kind of notice.

If they’re to jeopardize Pagan's career and both their reputations…well.
He and Ajay may as well make it something worth the risk.
